The balance due will be charged 14 days prior to arrival, and will be non-refundable in the event of a cancellation or no show. A booking can be cancelled up to 14 days before the arrival date, and the final balance will not need to be paid

    Nice apartment but not suited to small children. Cot was provided but no bedding, no high chair (brought our own), the doors are heavy and close shut without door stops and the floor is hard and slippery. I couldn’t find the kitchen manuals but googled how to use the washing machine (couldn’t open the door after cycle!)- good washer drier and dishwasher though. The flat is on the ground floor and the parking space was useful. Very short walk to train station and lovely uninterrupted view over the river. The tv remote needs new batteries I think as it was very difficult to use. The kitchen was poorly equipped however- no scourer for washing up and very basic cooking equipment. Overall had a good stay.

    Gael Holiday Homes staff were very friendly and helpful when we telephoned them with a few queries about the apartment, and the booking process was handled most efficiently. The apartment was spacious, fully equipped, clean and tidy, and was as described by Gael Holiday Homes. Having our own parking space was very useful. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment and would stay there again; we would also be very confident in using Gael Holiday Homes to locate other holiday homes in Scotland.

    Excellent stay, clean, very comfortable, appt had everything you could need, good location. Only downside was parking - we had to ask people to move from designated car spot. Would be better if there was a lock for the car space.

    This apartment was comfortable, well presented and immaculately clean. Perfect for four people though additional crockery would have been helpful. The apartment is located by the river and close to shopping and attractions. We were glad to arrive in daylight as the apartment was difficult to find in the block. We appreciated that we could call someone to help with this.

    Lovely flat. Really appreciated the extra room a 2 bedroom gives you. Great views of the river and its right at the part you can see the tidal change so view changes all the time.

    The apartment was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and roomy enough to stop us getting on each other's nerves. Just five minutes' walk along the river into the town centre. Easy walking distance to bus or train station. Great to wake up to the river view each morning. We love Inverness and we very much enjoyed our stay in Portland Apartment.

    The accommodation was comfortable and all facilities that could be expected. Wider range of glasses and some big mugs maybe but that might be picky!! Trying to find fault, advance info on very local facilities (eg shops for immediate needs on arrival) might have been useful. Directions on how to get there were an issue - they say "head towards Kessock Bridge" but the Kessock Bridge does not seem to appear on any signposts!! - apologies if we missed it. This made the 'finding' a bit longer than it should have been. Essentially great location and property for a visit to the City.

    This apartment was great for our stay in Inverness. Easy walk to downtown, very clean all essential amenities. We could have use some extra bedding, but we didn't request ahead and there wasn't any in the apartment.

    Ideal accommodation for self catering in Inverness.. Rooms very comfortable and excellent location close to Town centre. Booking system was good with good communication on any of our requirements. Would recommend these Appartments to all and look forward to using them again when in Inverness

    We were xpecting a one bed apartment but it was 2 doubles so a choice of bath or shower was excellent. V comfortable and quiet although near the train line there were v few trains. The only thing we missed was mugs and an ice tray would have been good. However we will def be back

    The apartment was great size for 4 adults, spacious, clean and plenty amenities. It was also quiet couldn't hear any neighbours and very central to town centre. Only thing I would change is checkout time 10am is very early, 11am would be better. This can be arranged but at an additional cost. We also wanted early check in of 2pm instead of 3pm but again although this was offered an additional cost of £20 would have incurred, which we didn't pay and went to pub instead.

    Good experience. El apartamento está ubicado en las afueras de Inverness, cerca del rio. La ciudad es pequeña, así que sólo te lleva diez minutos caminar hasta el centro. La ubicación por tanto es buena, y hay aparcamiento gratuito. La cocina está bien equipada en cuanto a electrodomésticos, pero hay excasa vajilla. En general está bien equipado y es cómodo para cuatro personas. Nuestra única pega es que resultó algo ruidoso, pero mereció la pena.

    Portland Apartment is a beautiful place to accommodate my family of 4. It's a perfect size and facilitates each of our needs. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. The living room and the bedrooms are clean and comfortable. The location is also very strategic as it is only a 10-15 minutes walk away from Inverness Station and it's close to shops and great restaurants. I highly recommend staying here for a memorable and a pleasant stay.

    We enjoyed our visit to the Portland apartment and views overlooking the river. The apartment is just a short walk from city center. Parking in the lot can be a bit of a challenge as the spots were very tight but it was nice to have a reserved (and free!) parking location for the duration of our stay. Our only complaint is was the cleanliness of the living room. We actually have to fold up the rug and sweep because the rug contained so much dog/cat hair. It's a cool looking rug but very difficult to clean. If you are allergic to dogs or cats, I would recommend you confirm with the owners first!

I also love the design of the rug, it’s made from natural fibres including hair which I appreciate now may not be to everyone’s liking. The apartment has never had dogs or cats stay during my ownership and the previous owner was a businessman who only occasionally stayed the odd day and again didn’t have pets stay. I pride myself on providing high standards including cleaning, you will see from our other reviews that this is one of our maintained core standards. I hope you enjoyed your time in Inverness and the Highlands and had a safe journey back to the USA. Thanks again.
