Lovely house in the country
4.5 OUT OF 5

We stayed in the house for 5 days, and we really enjoyed our stay. We had some trouble finding the house when we arrived, because the street didn't exist correctly in the GPS (Google Maps and Waze); I'm guessing that's because it's fairly recent. Its location 20 minutes North of Inverness was perfect for our needs. The house itself was exactly as advertised, just right for 4 people, with a comfortable living room, and very clean. The only issue we had is that we barely had any hot water on our last 1,5 days (basically the equivalent of one full minute in the shower). I mentioned this problem in an email (sent to the address mentioned in the house folder) but got no answer at all. That's our only complain about our stay there.
Lovely break in the Highlands of Scotland

The house was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. We had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday with some lovely trips around the area. We hadn't realised that the house was near to some others which were not yet finished on a newly built estate, but it was still extremely quiet and well located for everything we wanted to see. Would definitely go back there again and would recommend it for a stay in this part of Scotland.
Ideal location for exploring hidden Scotland

Wards Croft was an excellent base from which to explore both local attractions and further afield. This area has so much to offer, all within one hour. We felt very much at home within this neighborhood and found the accommodation both welcoming and well equipped.
Lovely little home from home!

I booked this for our son and his family who live in Jersey. As we live in the village it couldn't have been better. We were all very impressed, and they really enjoyed their first taste of Scotland. They will be back....!

The house has almost everything you wish for when staying for a holliday. and you want to cook your own food. It lies in a quiet environment within walking distance of various shops and the bad girl bakery (excellent coffee and cupcakes). The only (minor) drawback was that there was not yet a grip at the wall to help you enter or leave the bath. The price for a stay of a week was not bad either. In short: Very Good.
Located in a quiet residential street in the town of Muir of Ord on the edge of the Black Isle. Around a 20 minute drive to Inverness. Very close to the Glen Ord whisky distillery.
